Abstract Videography deals with the perceptions of reality. It takes away the focus of that which is literal or recognizable in our world, and gives a whole new conceptual meaning through color, movement, shapes, and form.

Using a DSLR camera, micro lens, strong neodymium magnets, a gallon jar, and TONS of ferrofluid , filming became especially difficult to accomplish. The trouble began when I found that the ferrofluid wasn’t reacting much to the magnets as much as I wanted to. To solve this problem, I placed another magnet inside the jar for the ferrofluid to consume, and moved that magnet with the outside magnet to achieve the effect that I wanted below.
